7 Tried and Tested Triangles

Ms Seigel’s life experience and education brought her to the point of writing down the things that have helped her achieve all she has to date. Her favourite quote from Mary Kay Ash says it all: ‘Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.’

This little book (108 pages) contains a wealth of information interspersed with images to help the reader understand that personal change is possible. As a reader who is always keen to learn, I found the information given interesting and easily understood. However, I would have preferred a different layout to better differentiate the sections and perhaps even some space to make a few notes along the way. It is a lot to absorb and I feel that leaving myself a note or two and then coming back to reassess those notes at a later stage would have been of great benefit. If one can take the time to visit each section, reflect on the information and make the changes, I believe that this book will be of help to those looking for it.

This cover is not one of my favourites. I am not fond of the author putting their picture as the focus on the front of a book and only having one triangle does not reflect the amount and complexity of the information contained within the cover. I do however love the thought that the information in the book might ‘tickle the brain’!

Overall an interesting read with some thought-provoking self-help questions to reflect upon.
